The perfect activity to keep your little ones occupied this winter – a Valentines Day Craft Calendar! I’ve had my eye on this advent calendar for years and finally purchased (on sale) after the holidays. I was determined to use it for more than just Christmas, so decided to create a crafty countdown to Valentines Day surprise for my girls. They LOVED it.
You can fill the advent calendar with whatever you wish – crafts, candy, gifts, activity cards, etc. My girls are very into crafting these days so I bought 1 Valentines Day craft for them to complete each day. I purcahsed everything from Micheals, Dollar Tree and Target (dollar spot.) MOM TIP: – take a trip to Dollar Tree! They have the best festive crafts for toddlers throughout every season. There is have SO much to choose from and all for $1.25 each. You can’t beat it. It makes filling this 24 day countdown calendar easy and affordable.
Here’s a link to my exact advent calendar, which comes in 2 sizes. I have the LARGE, which was the perfect size for filling with crafts (measures 27.25in x 47.25in with 6in x 6in pockets.) The smaller size would be more suitable for candy or activity cards. The material is bonded leather – a combination of wipeable synthetic material and genuine leather – it’s excellent quality.

I found this cloth alternative that is a very similar style just different material. The price point is much lower – $23. As for a size comparison, this one is slightly smaller than mine, 17″ x 43″. I think this would be a great option! I like that it’s neutral so can be used for multiple holidays.
