Since becoming a Mom, I don’t have much time to get to the gym, so taking Emilia for walks has become my main work-out. I try not to let the cold and snowy weather during the winter stop me! Emilia actually loves winter walks and I like that we’re able to get some much needed fresh air. I just make sure we’re all bundled up!
Today I’m sharing my top 6 winter baby picks. All these items will keep you and your babe feeling warm and cozy this winter, despite how cold it is outside!

1. CAR SEAT COCOON
After trying several winter car seat covers, this one is our favorite. This cover slips right over the car seat, eliminating any extra material between the baby and seat. The design of this cocoon creates great insulation keeping the baby nice and warm, in even the coldest temperatures. It has 3 zippers that allow you to access the baby and regulate the temperature. I also love the fur trim! It’s windproof, water-repellent and machine washable. Should fit all car seats.
2. BABY BUNTING BLANKET
This super cozy baby blanket will keep your child nice and warm in their stroller (you can also remove the back panel to use with a car seat.) What I love about this baby bunting blanket is that it grows with your child – from infancy to preschool – with length and width extension options included. It’s water repellent and machine washable. Works with all strollers and car seats.
3. STROLLER & CARSEAT FOOTMUFF
Another cozy sac for your little one! Unlike the footmuff mentioned above, this one does not expand to larger sizes as your child grows, but rather is sold in 2 different sizes (0-18M & 18M – 2T.) I love the soft, plush lining on this one! It adapts to all strollers and car seats and is also water-repellent and machine washable.
I found this style more suitable for younger babies and more mild temperatures. We used this footmuff during the fall when Emilia was 4-7 months old and switched over to the baby bunting (mentioned above) for winter when she was 8 months old.
4. STROLLER GLOVES
I can’t stress enough how amazing these stroller gloves are! Having the ability to easily slide your hands in and out of these gloves as needed – like when you need to quickly attend to your baby – is SO convenient. They simply velcro onto to the stroller handlebar to keep your hands nice and toasty all winter long!
5. BLANKET
I searched for the softest most luxurious baby blanket I could find and this is it! The super soft material combined with satin border makes for the coziest blanket for your little one. It’s the perfect size to take with you in the car or on a walk.
6. ECZEMA RELEIF BODY PRODUCTS
Our must have body products for winter are by Aveeno. Emilia has very sensitive eczema-prone skin that needs extra care – especially during the winter months. These products by Aveeno completely healed her eczema and keep her skin hydrated and silky smooth. We actually use them year-round!
