It’s that time of year to switch things up on our front porch. For my spring and summer front porch decor I kept our favorite cedar trees (these stay here year-round!) and added a neutral mat and white florals. I love how these simple changes really freshened up this space for the warmer weather. For more Home + Style content, follow me on instagram @REDWHITEANDDENIM
SPRING FRONT PORCH DECOR
CEDAR TREES
These cedar trees are a staple on my front porch. I’ve used them for years, season after season. They are excellent quality and very realistic looking. For reference, my front doors are 8 feet tall. I used the 8FT CEDAR TREES layered with a the smaller 5FT CEDAR TREES (both linked below.) You can certainly create this look with shorter trees or use 2 instead of 4! All the various sized cedar trees are linked below.

PLANTERS
I love using a mix of woven baskets and modern planters. Here are a few different options in various sets and sizes below.
These woven baskets are the perfect size for the larger cedar tree (any from 4ft – 8ft tall) These baskets are 18.5″ tall by 18.5″ wide. You can place the trees right inside, or add an object (like foam) to the base to raise the tree up to desired height. This is actually a great way to save some money by purchasing a smaller tree and making it appear taller.
I also love this set of 2 matching wicker baskets to layer in front of the larger trees. Add additional cedar trees or faux florals to create some dimension.
I recommend breaking up your woven planters with something more modern like these concrete pots which come in a few different sizes and finishes. Here are three of my favorite finishes below. You can purchase each size individually or as a set of 3.
FLOWERS
Hydrangeas stems are 12″ tall and are sold in a set of 12 stems. I have all 12 stems displayed in this bowl. I added rocks to the base of the bowl for weight (so it won’t blow over) and used a piece of styrofoam in the middle of the bowl to anchor the stems.

Kalanchoe stems are 8″ tall and are sold in a set of 6. They’re available in 6 different colors and look SO realistic! I have all 6 stems displayed in this planter. These are SO good! I’m hoping to purchase more myself.

RUGS
Layering mats is a great way to add some color, pattern and texture to your front porch decor. I love a neutral plaid for year-round styling. The rugs linked below come in several sizes and are all appropriate for use outdoors. I used a 3′ x 5′ plaid mat for our double doors, layered with a smaller natural fiber mat.
