My fall capsule wardrobe 2023 is live! And it may be one of my favorite capsule wardrobes yet. I thought about all my favorite colors and styles for the season (stuff I will actually wear on a daily basis) and put together a capsule to fit my lifestyle. When it comes to fall and winter styling, I always gravitate toward cozy, comfy and neutrals. You’ll find a mix of comfortable, everyday prices with some fun dressier, night-out options mixed in too

STRIPED DRESS
(Size down one size, wearing XS)
IVORY DRESS
(Size up – wearing M)
Size depends on how you want the dress to fit. My TTS fit like a glove but I prefer to size up since it’s ivory and was*slightly* see-through in my TTS. If you’re smaller in the chest area, stick with your TTS. Dress comes in black and red too!

STRIPE SWEATER

I typically size down in Free People sweaters but this one is naturally cropped so my true to size fit best. I love the shape and fit of this sweater!

This sweater is so cozy and the perfect length to wear with denim, over a dress or with a slip skirt. 10/10.
KNIT CARDIGAN

The coziest sweater! It’s wool-free and super soft. Sweater is naturally cropped so stick to your true to size.
CROPPED SWEATSHIRT

his cropped sweatshirt is an Amazon find and great for athleisure styling. Great with leggings or denim and a pair of sneakers. Comes in multiple colors.
BOXY TEE
(Size up 1 – wearing M)
I searched high and low for a cropped tee with a flattering fit. LOVE this one – great quality and not too short.

IVORY CAMI

My cami is from last year but this one is very similar! I wear this more than any other item in my wardrobe. It’s the perfect color for year round styling.
TRENCH COAT

I feel like I found the PERFECT trench coat for fall. I was searching for a longer style in a pretty taupe color and this checks all the boxes. It’s super comfortable and versatile.

My vest is from last year but this is very similar in length and style. Puffy vests are one of my most worn items in the fall winter and ivory is a great neutral color to add to your wardrobe.
DENIM JACKET
(naturally oversized so I recommend TTS or up 1 for very oversized fit). Color is Indigo Worn In.
Levi’s is always my go-to for denim jackets! I love this updated oversized style. The wash is perfect too!

These are a great creamy white/ivory color denim for year-round styling. They have a slight flare with raw hem. A great updated denim choice.

One of my favorite denim styles – a classic. Great option if you’re not ready to give up on the skinny jean trend but want something more updated.

WIDE LEG DENIM

Wanted to give wide leg denim a try and love this distressed, worn-in style. These are meant to sit a little lower on your waist/hips. They are a more relaxed style which I’m loving. Very comfy. Normally this style doesn’t work for me, but I love these!

LEGGINGS

These leggings make an appearance in every capsule of mine! A mom-style staple. They are excellent quality and fit for the price. Less than $30.
BASEBALL CAP
My first Ralph Lauren baseball cap. Not sure how it’s taken me so long to grab one of these but I love it – I’ll be ordering more colors soon! A great mom staple and option for bad hair days. Just throw own and go!
SHOULDER BAG
I love that you can wear this bag over the shoulder or crossbody. It’s a mix of all my favorite neutral colors.
KNOT BAG
I was looking for an affordable ivory evening bag and stumbled across this one on Amazon!
TOTE
A great everyday bag with plenty of space for all your things – great Mom bag too! This is a look for less option from Amazon. I’m pleased with the quality! Comes in many colors.
ATHLETIC SNEAKERS
(True to size – I’m a 7.5/8 and ordered the 7.5. Keep in mind these are UNISEX so make sure you’re ordering the correct size based on listing. A men’s 6 = women’s 7.5)
This is my favorite style sneaker for athleisure and working out. Its SO COMFORTABLE. I love the way it looks too – very easy to style. There are some great color combos out now – I linked this exact pair and some other favorites below.
