WREATHS
I used faux cedar wreaths on my front doors. These are 36 inches. I have 8 foot doors for reference. I linked a similar option below that comes in a 26 inch size as well.
To hang my wreaths, I hammer a very small nail into the top side of my door (I have real wood doors) and hang from clear fishing wire.

This is the ribbon I used to make the bows on my wreaths. It’s 2″ velvet ribbon that comes in 20+ colors. You will need one 5 yard roll of ribbon per bow. I used the red this year. I also love the taupe (seen HERE) and camel.
BOW TUTORIAL:
- Create a small loop at the very top of your wreath using fishing wire, string or a thinner matching velvet ribbon. I used THIS 3/8″ RIBBON.
- Take your 5 yard roll of 2″ ribbon and cut in half – you’ll be left with 2 pieces of 2.5 yard long ribbon.
- Fold each piece of ribbon in half and thread through the loop (created in step one) in opposite directions to create a bow.
- Adjust ribbon to your preferred length and cut the ends.

FLOWERS
These are my exact faux poinsettias. They’re huge, beautiful and realistic looking. I have 3 stems in each basket. To be honest I think I could have gotten away with only 2!
PLANTERS
I love using a mix of woven baskets and modern planters. Here are a few different options in various sets and sizes below.
This set of 2 woven baskets is perfect for the cedar trees (4ft – 8ft.) You can place the trees right inside, or add an object (like foam) to the base to raise the tree up to desired height.
I also love this set of 2 matching wicker baskets to layer in front of the larger trees. Add smaller trees or florals to these. The larger of the two is the exact basket I’m using for the red poinsettias in this post. I used the smaller size for the 2ft cedar trees.
I recommend breaking up your woven planters with something more modern like these cement pots which come in a few different sizes and finishes! Here are three of my favorite finishes below.
FAUX TREES
This is my 3rd year using these faux cedar trees. They are my favorite outdoor faux tree – I use them year round on my porch! These faux cedar trees come in all different sizes. I’m using the 2ft, 5ft and 8ft trees in my front door decor this year (I have 8ft tall doors for reference.)
