Any other Mom’s look forward to bath time every night?? It’s my favorite! I love giving Emilia a bath as much as she enjoys having one. Seeing her have fun splashing around in the tub makes me so happy. We’ve had a lot of luck with the bath products we’ve purchased along the way, so I thought I would share them with you! All the best gear, toys and body products along with a few things that make bath time more comfortable for mom and dad too. Keep scrolling to see our list of the best baby bath products!
BABY BATH PRODUCTS
1. BATH TUB
This was the tub we used for Emilia from the time she was a few weeks old up until about 8 months. I like that is an actual tub (can be filled with water) rather than a seat that gets placed in a tub (so you don’t have to fill bathtub every time. We used this in our sink to bath her for the first couple months, then moved to the bathtub. The seat adjusts as your child grows and there is a color-changing drain plug that helps you keep an eye on the water temperature.
2. RINSER
At first this seemed like an unnecessary purchase, but it’s turned into one of our most used items at bath time! Great for washing hair, it’s designed to help keep water out of your babies eyes and ears. it also features a soft lip that can be placed onto babies head.
3. INFLATABLE BATHER
This is another great option for the tub – more suitable for smaller babies. I love that it has wings to help keep the baby comfy and warm. Very soft and cushiony for a comfy bathing experience. It’s also great for travel/storing as it takes up little space once deflated. Fits infants up to 20 lbs.
This is also a great option if you’re bathing two babies in the tub at the same time. We purchased this for baby #2, so she can float in it while taking a bath with her big sister.
4. TUB MAT
Once Emilia was around 8 months old, we replaced her infant tub with this anti-slip tub mat. The bottom has suction cups to keep it secure on the tub and top is textured to keep baby from slipping. One of my favorite features is the ability to easily hang it after use – there’s a button by the tail that secures so you can hang on a shower head or knobs to dry. We hang ours after every bath to help keep clean and prevent mold.
5. BATH PRODUCTS
Our favorite baby bath products to use are by The Honest Company. I feel comfortable knowing that these products are clean and gentle on my kids skin. Both my girls have very sensitive skin and these are one of the very few brands that don’t irritate them. They are also tear-free and formulated without silicones, parabens, dyes, synthetic fragrances, formaldehyde donors, and phthalates.
6. SOFT BABY BRUSH
The softest natural bristle brush! This wooden brush tames Emilia’s hair and is very gentle on her head. The bristles are soft to the touch and feel so nice on baby’s scalp.
7. SILICONE BRUSH
If your baby suffers from cradle cap, this product is a must! This silicone scrubber brush creates a soothing lather and massage with tiny silicone bristles. They’re also a great for teaching your child to bathe independently once their older!
8. BAMBOO TOWELS
We found bamboo towels are so soft! They are made from 100% bamboo rayon and have the cutest little hood to help keep baby warm.
9.JUMBO RUBBER DUCKY
Emilia loves her rubber ducky! And mom loves the nostalgia of it. This is an oversized rubber duck measuring 8.5″ wide. It’s the biggest toy we have in the tub and probably Emilia’s favorite! She kisses it every night!
10. BATH TOY BIN
The perfect sized toy bin to hold all your child’s bath toys. I love the design and handle, allowing you to scoop up all the toys before the water drains for easy clean-up. Holes let water drain and into plastic base which keeps bin standing upright. Also dishwasher safe. We couldn’t be happier with this product!
11. SILICONE TOOTHBRUSHES
As soon as Emmi’s two bottom teeth popped through, we purchased this FINGER TOOTHBRUSH. It’s 100% silicone with a double headed brush to clean the top and bottom teeth/gums at the same time. I’m assuming it feels great in your little one’s mouth judging by how much Emilia loves to use it! The design also helps protect your finger in case baby decided to bit down hard.
As soon as she had a full set of teeth, we switched to the TODDLER TOOTHBRUSH. This brush is more similar to an actual toothbrush with real bristles and a soft, flexible silicone handle. The triple-brush head design attacks plaque fast by hugging teeth and cleaning all sides at once. She lets us brush her teeth with this, no problem!
12. BATH KNEELER
One of the best purchases we made (for mom and dad!) was a bath kneeler. It doesn’t take many baths before you realize you need one of these to make the experience more comfortable for YOU. This knee pad makes all the difference!
13. BAMBOO WASHCLOTHS
Made out of the same soft bamboo as the towels above, these are the best washcloths for your babies delicate face. They a great quality and wash well too!
14. SPOUT COVER
Once your baby starts moving around the tub you’ll want to grab a spout cover. I love this one which is a soft, tough rubber that protects baby against bumps and bruises during bath time. It’s a fun whale design that your baby will love. Also dishwasher safe.
15. ECZEMA RELEIF TREATMENT
Our must have eczema relief products are by Aveeno. This eczema relief bath treatment is a great option if your little one has a breakout. It’s so soothing to helps calm and heal the skin. I also love all the Aveeno creams and lotions for extra dry and sensitive skin.
