AFFORDABLE NURSERY CLOSET SYSTEM

It’s been almost 3 years since we installed this closet system in our oldest daughters nursery. I wanted to share it with you because its been PERFECT for their little clothes from newborn through the toddler years. The entire system is only a couple hundred dollars and easy to install! I love that design incorporates 4 separate sections for hanging clothes plus shelves for additional storage (there’s an option with drawers in the center too!) STORAGE BASKETS

Here’s a link to the seagrass storage baskets I used on the shelves of our closet system. I use these baskets to store things like socks, tights and accessories (hats, bags, headbands, etc.) Rope baskets are used underneath the closet system to store toys, stuffed animals and linens (extra crib covers, sheets and blankets!)

Leggings are easier to fold than hang so I grabbed a matching seagrass tray to store them. They fit perfectly folded in this tray!

ROLLING LAUNDRY HAMPER

I found the perfect laundry hamper to fit inside this closet system. The shelves in the center have a fixed width with adjustable height. I adjusted the the bottom shelf to fit the height of the hamper (the width was perfect!) I highly recommend a hamper on wheels – makes trips to and from the laundry room a lot easier. I’ve owned several rolling laundry hammers and this one is the best quality by far.

HANGERS

One of the best ways to keep your closet looking clean and organized is by using matching hangers. You can buy these in bulk – they come in both a baby (11″) and kids (14″) sizes. These have an ultra slim profile (not bulky at all) to help maximize space in your closet. I also love the velvet surface which keeps clothes from slipping.
