We recently celebrated the girls’ birthdays and this years theme was PUPPIES! Both my girls love dogs so we decided to host an ADOPT A PUPPY party. This was such a fun theme and one of my favorite parties to plan for them. Each party guest got to adopt a cute little puppy with an “official” adoption certificate and make a custom collar and dog house.

PUPPIES
These little puppies were the perfect size for our party. They’re sold as a set of 12, which includes a variety of pups (5 color variations). I handmade their mini party hats using card stock, pom poms and elastic.
ADOPTION CERTIFICATES
Each of our guests got to adopt their puppy with an “official” certificate. I found these cute adoption certificates on Amazon! Sold as a set of 10 – linked below.
CAKE
The custom cake and cupcakes were baked by SUGAR MAGNOLIA BAKERY and were delicious! I handmade these little dog toppers for the cake. I purchased the mini dog figurines (linked below!) and decorated them with handmade mini birthday hats, gifts and balloons!
ACTIVITIES
We had a variety of favors + activities for our little guests in including custom puppy collars, make your own dog houses, puppy themed corn hole and dog ears to wear throughout the party.
BOUNCE HOUSE
After several years of renting bounce houses for our birthday parties, we decided to invest in one of our own. I found this beautiful white bounce house for an awesome price – less than it would cost to rent one (this color and size) for the day. For us, it made more sense to buy this bounce house than to continue renting one year after year.
The bounce house comes in several colors and is 16.4 ft L x 13.1 ft W x 9.3 ft H (perfect size for a party!) It inflates instantly and also folds up nice and compact for storage. It also cleans super easy – I wipe it down while it’s inflated and any stains have lifted easy. We also ask our guests to take shoes off before entering to minimize stains. I would 10/10 recommend!
We decorated each side of the bounce house with cardboard ‘dog houses’. I purchased these houses and painted them pink. I also added the girls names to each, decorated with a mini marquee number and balloons!
