We recently transformed my daughters nursery into a big girl room! She was ready for a more mature space and most importantly – a big girl bed! My goal was to keep as much as possible from her nursery. We swapped out her crib for a bed and added some new decor and wallpaper. We also added some fun functional decor to help keep her books and toys neat and organized. I linked as much as I could below – exact items or very similar!

BEDDING

Bedding is a mix of Amazon + Homegoods, I linked what I could below! Scalloped Duvet is sold as a 3 piece set for under $100. Its 100% cotton OEKO-TEX certified. One side of the duvet is white, the other is tan. I also found a muslin cotton ruffled pillow case cover in the sweetest floral print for under $15. You can choose from 33 different colors + patterns. I’ll link the pillow insert I used as well!

FURNITURE

I can’t say enough good things about this bed. It’s been the perfect transition for our daughter from a toddler bed. It’s a platform style so it’s low to the ground. The unique arched headboard is fun and hopefully something she’ll continue to enjoy as she gets older. This upholstered frame comes in several different colors and materials. We have the color Alabaster. I also linked the mattress we chose after much research – certified organic and made in the USA!

We kept the same dresser that my daughter used in her.I updated it by swapping out the standard knobs for these pretty gold bows. A simple swap that made a big difference!
See HERE for an easy DIY framed baby headband tutorial. I made these keepsakes for both my girls using their very first baby bow headbands.

For my daughter’s vanity, we found a style I linked in Amazon. I replaced both the mirror and chair with rattan style accents to match the rest of her room. I love how it all came together!

DRAPES

These drapes are one of my favorite Amazon finds EVER. I have them all over my home. For my daughters room, we chose the color Pink Lemonade. I would recommend purchasing a COLOR SAMPLE BOOK prior to ordering, to ensure you get the perfect color. These drapes are sold with two lining options: UNLINED or BLACKOUT. The drapes you see photographed here are unlined – they do not have the blackout liner (we have a blackout cellular shade we use to block light).
ORGANIZATION

These cute little scalloped baskets are one of my favorite pieces of functional decor we added to her room. They’re perfect for storing stuffed animals and having them on the wall frees up some space on her floor. I found them on Amazon, highly recommend!

These acrylic bookshelves are another favorie item for organizing. We have had these since my daughter was a baby and the have held up incredibly well. Unlike chaep alternatives, this product is very wellmade and sturdy. It holds more books than anh othe wall bookshelf we have tried. They are sold as a set of two.
