In my opinion, chambray is one of the most amazing textiles to ever exist. Any color, pattern or texture will work with chambray – you really can’t go wrong. It serves as a neutral base that can be dressed up, dressed down or stand on its own. As far as I’m concerned, one cannot have enough chambray in their closet! Typically, I style my chambray tops during the warmer months, but lately I’ve been determined to incorporate this material into my winter wardrobe. So here’s my take on winter chambray!
My winter chambray look today is full of layers and bold winter textures. I added a warm fur vest, suede stilettos and coated black denim. A fur vest is a great warm layer that will make any outfit look more chic. Coated jeans are a great alternative to leather plants and much more comfortable! My suede pumps are from Forever 21 (yes that is snow on the ground but I don’t care because I am obsessed with these shoes!) Lately I love anything with an ankle strap, so these immediately caught my attention. They are a manageable height and are really quite comfortable. Adding red lips and one of my vintage Chanel bags made this the perfect date night look.
This chic winter chambray look proves that you can rock your favorite chambray tops any time of year!
