Today I’m sharing a few ways to wear my favorite color for the upcoming holiday – RED! Whether you’re looking for a pretty dress, a festive top or something cozy, each of these Valentine’s Day date night outfit ideas would be perfect for an eventing with your special someone.
There’s no need to go over the top with your Valentines Day outfit. As a matter of fact, the simpler the better. The key here is simply incorporating a festive color like pink or red. Lucky for me, red is my favorite color and also very appropriate for the holiday. Red is bold, but don’t let that intimidate you – it’s surprisingly easy to wear. My favorite way to style red is with denim, neutrals and pops of leopard. I would describe each of these outfits as a combination between casual and chic – perfect for a night out with your Valentine!

RED + DENIM
For those of you looking for a not-too-fancy dress, I found the perfect option. This classic wrap dress has clean lines and a flattering fit. The color is beautiful too! I paired this bright red beauty with nude stilettos and my good ol’ Levi’s jacket for a more laid back vibe.
RED + LEOPARD
This cozy Valentine’s Day look may be my favorite! I love a good graphic tee, especially in the color red! Choose a statement tee with a festive color, graphic or saying – I linked a few Valentine’s themed options below! Dress up your tee with stilettos, fun denim and a leopard jacket. This casual, cool look is perfect for a night of drinks and dancing – with your Valentine or GALentine!
RED + BLACK
If you prefer to wear a festive top, I recommend this gorgeous lace blouse. The red lace overlay screams Valentine’s Day and even has little heart shaped details throughout! If you’re more of a neutrals girl, this dressy tee also comes in an equally beautiful all-nude version. Gorgeous details and a loose and comfy fit make this top the perfect choice for romantic dinner date with your valentine!
I hope this helped to give you some Valentine’s Day outfit inspiration! At the very least, I’m hoping I encouraged you to bring some RED into your wardrobe!
