Christmas is my favorite holiday and champagne is my drink of choice, so this year I decided to do something in celebration of both! I crafted a simple, yet festive cocktail for my family to enjoy on Christmas day. My Christmas champagne cocktail recipe featured champs adorned with pomegranate seeds and a single sprig of rosemary. The juice filled pomegranate seeds add a unexpected burst of flavor as they make their way to your mouth. While the rosemary garnish doesn’t do much to the taste of the champagne, it does makes it very aromatic. Even more important than the scent and flavor of the bubbly, is how beautiful it looks! These red and green embellishments are the perfect complement to your holiday cocktails. I recommend adding them to your vodka sodas and other mixed drinks as well.
So if you’re looking to add a little color, fragrance and visual appeal to your glass of champagne or mixed drink this holiday season, give this a try! Your guests are sure to enjoy! Be sure to follow my Pinterest boards for more fun holiday treats!
TIP: Be sure to splurge on the seeds already removed from the pomegranate – spending the extra money beats having to remove them on your own.
